GOOD TO KNOW - TRAVEL CONDITIONS
Child discount (50%)
Is valid until the year the child is 16 years old. Children under 7 years are only allowed to travel with a person over 16 years. Age have to be proved with identification. Discounted price will be rounded up to the nearest 10 (SEK).
Student- and teenage discount (25%)
Travellers with valid SFS-, CSN-, Isic-, Membit- or Mecenat-card together with valid photo identification, and teenagers until 20 years old, receive a discount on regular price. Age have to be proved with photo identification. Discounted price will be rounded up to the nearest 10 (SEK).
Senior discount (25%)
Discount ordinary Monday-Thursday for old age pensioners and early retirement pensioners, ordinary days before great weekends excluded. Old age pensioners have to prove the age with photo identification. Early retirement pensioners have to prove one´s authority with certificates from Försäkringskassan (the social insurance office). Widow and occupational pensioners are not justified to use the discount.
Quantity discount
You will get 1 ticket for free if you buy 7 tickets in advanced booking.
You will get 2 tickets for free if you buy 11 tickets.
These tickets are personal and guilty for one year from first day of travel.
Other/Temporarily discount
Other and/or temporarily discounts can occur at some services. According discounts for separate routes occur in the timetable and in the current marketing.
Booking
The reservation is mandatory and guarantees seat. The booking is for free. Travellers that not have made any reservation are welcome if there are seats available. The bus stops normally only when a ticket is booked in advance.
Particular seat in the bus can be reserved against charge.
Payment
When booking at www.svenskabuss.se there is a direct payment service with VISA/MasterCard in connection to the booking. Tickets can also be paid at the sales location when you get your ticket, or directly to the bus driver. Please remember to bring even money.
Cancellation - Rebooking - Repayment
Cancellation has to be done not later than 3 pm the weekday before departure. Tickets that are booked at www.svenskabuss.se can be cancelled on the web, read RULES FOR DIFFERENT TYPE OF TICKETS above concerning cancellation at Svenska Buss homepage. If you terminate the journey, the ticket is no longer valid. The ticket cannot be transferred to another person. Travels that have not been cancelled according to the rules will not be reimbursed and cannot be rebooked. If cancellation within prescribed time is done, you will get reimbursement for not used tickets within 2 month from the first travel date, with deduction for service charge (SEK 50/SEK 100). An approved cancellation of a travel that has been booked and paid at www.svenskabuss.se will be repaid to the same credit card account that was used for the payment (it can take up to one week for the money to be retransferred).
Departure
It is the travellers responsibility to be on place in right time to locate the current bus stop. In Stockholm and Växjö you have to be at the bus stop not later than ten minutes before departure.

Luggage
Hand luggage, that does not trespass on any other passenger?s space or prevent passage, is accepted at the bus. Other luggage (max 2 suitcases/person) and prams are placed in the luggage area. Extra luggage can only be approved after agreement before departure. Mark the luggage with your name, address and telephone number. The Svenska Buss companies have no responsibility for missing luggage.
Goods/Bikes
When there is enough room, and only after agreement, goods and bikes can follow with a special rate.
Exceptions can occur!
Animals
Animals are not allowed in the compartment. Guide dog for visually handicapped are allowed without extra charge.
Smoking is not allowed
Traffic disturbance
Traffic disturbance can occur, there is no compensation due to this. The Svenska Buss companies are not responsible for any transports outside their own routes.
Hotel package
In connection to your journey you can book a hotel to stay overnight at several places to a good price. Please contact the sales offices for more information.
Reservations
The Svenska Buss companies reserve the right for the driver to refuse both passengers and luggage for safety reasons. The times and bus stops specified in the timetable can under constraints circumstances be changed without any previous information.
With reservations for any changes and misprints of regulations, times, bus stops, prices etc.
TRAVEL TIME GUARANTEE
The travel time guarantee is valid when the arrival is delayed more than 60 minutes and is depending on technical problems with the bus or other faults that the bus operator has the possibility to affect.
This is not valid for delays that are related to traffic disturbances, depending on bad weather conditions, accidents or any other external circumstances that the bus operator has no control of.
Svenska Buss puts the safety in the first room and therefore it can be delays depending on bad road conditions or extreme weather conditions.
If the delay exceeds 60 minutes, the passenger is compensated with one (1) free one-way ticket corresponding to the journey where the delay occurred. If the delay exceeds two hours the passenger is compensated with two (2) one-way tickets corresponding to the journey where the delay occurred.
Compensation is paid in the form of a free ticket, no payment are made in cash.
Complaints shall be made in writing on special form within one (1) month from the journey took place and shall be sent to:
